Creating a New Resolution Item in MeetingPal
Access the Scheduled Meeting
On the MeetingPal Home Page, locate the left-hand menu. Select Meetings.
From the dropdown list, locate and select the scheduled meeting where you want to create a new resolution item.
Open the Agenda Section
In the selected meeting’s dropdown menu, click Agenda.
The Agenda Page will open, displaying the meeting agenda items.
Select the Relevant Agenda Item
Locate the agenda item under which the resolution should be created. Click the relevant agenda item to open its details.
Add a New Resolution Item
Within the selected agenda item, click the Add Resolution or New Resolution Item button.
A resolution item form or pop-up window will appear.
Enter Resolution Details
Complete the required information for the resolution item.
You may be required to enter:
Resolution Title Resolution Text or Description Resolution Number or Sequence Voting Type Required Approval Percentage Presenter or Responsible Person Supporting Notes or Attachments
Ensure all information is accurate before saving.
Configure Resolution Settings
Depending on your organization’s meeting configuration, you may also be able to:
Enable attendee voting. Allow proxy voting. Set quorum requirements. Mark the resolution as confidential. Restrict visibility to specific attendees or groups. Attach supporting documents or reports.
Save the Resolution Item
Once all required details are completed, click Save Resolution or Create Resolution Item.
The new resolution item will now appear under the selected agenda item.
Review the Resolution Item
After saving:
Confirm the resolution appears under the correct agenda item. Verify that voting settings and permissions are correct. Ensure all attachments and supporting documents are visible. Test voting settings if required before the meeting begins.
Important Notes
Resolution items are typically linked to specific agenda items within a meeting. Voting permissions and quorum settings may depend on your organization’s MeetingPal configuration. Resolution items can usually be edited before voting begins. Ensure all supporting documentation is uploaded before distributing meeting materials.
