Using the Presentation Tab in a Scheduled Meeting in MeetingPal

Access the Scheduled Meeting

On the MeetingPal Home Page, locate the left-hand menu. Select Meetings.

From the dropdown list, locate and select the scheduled meeting you want to present.

Open the Presentation Tab

In the selected meeting’s dropdown menu, click Presentation.

The Presentation page will open in presentation mode.

Understanding the Presentation Page

The Presentation page provides a full-screen view of your meeting content for use during the live meeting.

From this page, you can:

Present agenda items and resolutions. Display supporting documents and attachments. Show live voting results. Navigate between slides. Share the presentation on a projector or screen share.

Start the Presentation

Once the Presentation page is open:

Review the first slide. Click Start Presentation if prompted. Switch to full-screen mode for the best viewing experience.

The presentation will typically begin with the meeting title or opening agenda item.

Use the available controls to move through the meeting content.

Navigation options may include:

Next Slide Previous Slide Slide Menu Keyboard Arrow Keys Jump to Specific Agenda Items or Resolutions

This allows the chairperson to control the pace of the meeting.

Present Agenda Items and Resolutions

As you progress through the presentation, MeetingPal will display:

Agenda item titles and descriptions. Resolution wording. Supporting documents and attachments. Voting buttons and results.

Use these slides to guide discussion and decision-making.

Display Live Voting Results

When a vote is opened, the Presentation page may display:

Total votes cast. Votes in favour, against, and abstaining. Weighted voting totals. Outcome status.

This enables attendees to view results in real time.

Share Documents and Attachments

If agenda items or resolutions include supporting documents, they can be displayed directly within the presentation.

Use document navigation controls to scroll through attachments as needed.

Use Full-Screen Mode

For meetings held in person or online:

Click the Full Screen icon. Share your screen via the Video Call tab or projector.

This ensures participants can clearly view the presentation.

Exit the Presentation

When the meeting concludes:

Exit full-screen mode. Close the Presentation tab or return to the meeting dashboard.

Your progress and meeting actions will remain recorded in MeetingPal.

Best Practices

Review all agenda items and resolutions before the meeting. Test the presentation in advance. Confirm attachments display correctly. Use full-screen mode for better visibility. Monitor live voting results as resolutions are considered.

Important Notes

The Presentation tab reflects the latest agenda, resolutions, and supporting documents. Changes made before or during the meeting may appear automatically after refreshing. Presentation controls may vary depending on your permissions. Live voting results are only shown when voting is enabled.
