Notification Sender Tab

Access the Scheduled Meeting

On the MeetingPal Home Page, locate the left-hand menu. Select Meetings.

From the dropdown list, locate and select the scheduled meeting for which you want to send notifications.

Open the Notification Sender Tab

In the selected meeting’s dropdown menu, click Notification Sender.

The Notification Sender page will open.

Understanding the Notification Sender Page

The Notification Sender page allows you to:

  • Create and send custom notifications to meeting participants.
  • Select specific recipients or recipient groups.
  • Choose the notification delivery method.
  • Preview the message before sending.
  • Review previously sent notifications.

Create a New Notification

Click the New Notification or Create Notification button.

A notification editor will open.

Enter Notification Details

Complete the required fields.

Typical fields may include:

  • Subject
  • Message Body
  • Recipient Selection
  • Delivery Method (Email, SMS, or In-App Notification)
  • Attachments (if enabled)

Select Recipients

Choose who should receive the notification. Options may include:

  • All invitees.
  • Attendees currently online.
  • Absent attendees.
  • Specific owners or groups.
  • Selected individuals.

Use filters or checkboxes to refine your recipient list.

Preview and Send the Notification

Click Preview to review the notification.

If everything is correct, click Send Notification or Send Now.

Confirm the action if prompted.

Review Sent Notifications

After sending, the Notification Sender page may display:

  • Delivery status.
  • Sent date and time.
  • Recipient count.
  • Failed deliveries.

Use this information to confirm that notifications were successfully sent.

Common Uses for Notification Sender

The Notification Sender tab is useful for:

  • Sending meeting reminders.
  • Announcing agenda updates.
  • Sharing important links.
  • Notifying attendees that voting has opened.
  • Communicating urgent updates during the meeting.

Best Practices

Send a test notification if available.

Keep messages concise and clear.

Confirm recipient selection before sending.

Avoid sending duplicate notifications.

Important Notes

Available delivery methods depend on your organization’s MeetingPal configuration.

Some notifications may incur SMS or email delivery charges.

Notification history may be retained for audit purposes.
