Audit Logs Tab

Access the Scheduled Meeting

On the MeetingPal Home Page, locate the left-hand menu. Select Meetings.

From the dropdown list, locate and select the scheduled meeting for which you want to review the audit history.

Open the Audit Logs Tab

In the selected meeting’s dropdown menu, click Audit Logs.

The Audit Logs page will open.

Understanding the Audit Logs Page

The Audit Logs page provides a detailed, chronological record of actions performed within the meeting.

From this page, you can review:

  • Who performed each action.
  • What action was taken.
  • When the action occurred.
  • Which meeting item was affected.
  • Previous and updated values (where applicable).

Review Audit Log Entries

Each audit log entry may include information such as:

  • Date and Time
  • User Name
  • Action Type (Created, Updated, Deleted, Sent, Logged In, Voted)
  • Affected Record
  • Description of the Change
  • IP Address (if enabled)

This information helps maintain a complete history of meeting activity.

Search and Filter the Audit Logs

Use the search bar and filters to locate specific events.

You may be able to filter by:

  • User.
  • Action type.
  • Date range.
  • Record type.
  • Keywords.

This is useful when investigating specific changes or events.

Common Actions Captured in Audit Logs

Typical actions recorded include:

  • Meeting settings updates.
  • Agenda and resolution changes.
  • Invitee additions and edits.
  • Invitations sent.
  • RSVP responses.
  • Attendance updates.
  • Proxy assignments.
  • Votes cast.
  • Minutes edits.

Investigate Changes

Use the Audit Logs to answer questions such as:

  • Who edited a resolution?
  • When were invitations sent?
  • Who recorded a manual vote?
  • When was quorum achieved?
  • What changes were made to meeting notes?

Export Audit Logs

If available:

Click Export or Download.

Save the audit history for compliance, governance, or legal purposes.

The Audit Logs tab is useful for:

  • Verifying user activity.
  • Maintaining a defensible record of meeting actions.

Important Notes

Audit logs are generated automatically and cannot typically be edited.

Available details may vary depending on your organization’s configuration.

Access to audit information may be limited to users with appropriate permissions.

Audit records may be retained according to your organization’s data retention policies.
