IP Addresses Tab
Access the Scheduled Meeting
On the MeetingPal Home Page, locate the left-hand menu. Select Meetings.
From the dropdown list, locate and select the scheduled meeting you want to audit.
Open the IP Addresses Tab
In the selected meeting’s dropdown menu, click IP Addresses.
The IP Addresses page will open.
Understanding the IP Addresses Page
The IP Addresses page provides a record of the internet addresses used by attendees when they access the meeting.
From this page, you can:
- View IP addresses associated with attendee logins.
- See when each attendee connected.
- Identify duplicate or shared IP addresses.
- Monitor unusual access patterns.
- Support audit and compliance requirements.
Review IP Address Records
Each record may include:
- Attendee Name
- Email Address
- IP Address
- Login Date and Time
- Browser or Device Information
- Country or Region (if available)
Use this information to verify where and how participants accessed the meeting.
Search and Filter Records
Use the search bar and available filters to locate specific entries.
You may be able to filter by:
- Attendee name.
- IP address.
- Date range.
- Country or region.
This is useful when investigating login activity.
Identify Duplicate IP Addresses
Multiple attendees may appear with the same IP address when:
- They are using the same office or home network.
- They are connected through a corporate VPN.
- They are attending from the same venue.
Review these records to confirm that shared IP addresses are expected.
Investigate Suspicious Activity
The IP Addresses tab can help identify:
- Unexpected login locations.
- Multiple accounts using the same IP address.
- Access from unfamiliar networks.
- Unusual login times.
If anything appears unusual, compare the data with the Connections and Attendance Register tabs.
Export IP Address Data
If available:
Click Export or Download.
Save the report for audit, compliance, or security review purposes.
Common Uses for the IP Addresses Tab
The IP Addresses tab is useful for:
- Meeting audit trails.
- Security investigations.
- Compliance reporting.
- Verifying participant access.
Best Practices
Review IP records after important meetings.
Investigate unexpected locations or duplicate logins.
Retain exported reports if required by your governance policies.
Use this tab together with Email Logs, Connections, and Attendance Register for a complete audit trail.
Important Notes
IP addresses are recorded automatically when attendees access the meeting.
Shared IP addresses do not necessarily indicate suspicious activity.
Available geolocation information may be approximate.
Access to IP information may be restricted to authorized administrators.
