Using the Upload Central Tab in a Scheduled Meeting in MeetingPal

Access the Scheduled Meeting

On the MeetingPal Home Page, locate the left-hand menu. Select Meetings.

From the dropdown list, locate and select the scheduled meeting where you want to upload documents.

Open the Upload Central Tab

In the selected meeting’s dropdown menu, click Upload Central.

The Upload Central page will open.

Understanding Upload Central

Upload Central is a central location where you can:

Upload meeting documents and supporting files. View previously uploaded documents. Organize files before attaching them to agenda items or resolutions. Replace outdated versions of documents. Delete files that are no longer required.

Upload a New Document

Click the Upload File or Add Document button.

Select the file from your computer. Wait for the upload to complete.

Supported file types may include:

PDF Microsoft Word documents Excel spreadsheets PowerPoint presentations Images

Enter Document Details (Optional)

Depending on your configuration, you may be prompted to add:

Document Title Description Category Version Notes Visibility Permissions

Complete any required fields and click Save.

Manage Uploaded Documents

After uploading, you can:

Preview documents. Download files. Rename document titles. Replace files with updated versions. Delete files. Attach documents to agenda items or resolutions.

Attach Documents to Meeting Items

Documents uploaded to Upload Central can be linked to meeting content.

Navigate to the relevant Agenda Item or Resolution. Select Attach Existing Document. Choose the required file from Upload Central. Save the changes.

This avoids uploading the same document multiple times.

Review Uploaded Files

Before distributing meeting packs:

Confirm all required documents are uploaded. Verify that each document opens correctly. Ensure the latest file versions are attached. Remove duplicate or outdated files.

Best Practices

Use clear and descriptive file names. Upload final versions of documents whenever possible. Replace documents rather than creating duplicates. Review file permissions to ensure attendees can access the correct documents.

Important Notes

Upload Central stores documents for the specific meeting. Uploaded files may count toward your organization’s storage limits. Supported file types and size limits may vary depending on your configuration. Documents can typically be updated until the meeting pack is distributed.
